| Lanchester
was the oldest British Motor Car Manufacturer, and
retained a tradition of engineering “differently”
until their acquisition by Daimler in 1931. The
1932 15/18 was the first car to be introduced by
the new Ownership, intended for wealthy owner drivers,
and retaining certain Lanchester eccentricities.
It brought ease of use via the new transmission
of fluid flywheel and pre-selector gearbox but was
very expensive and only a few hundred were produced.
Our example is finished with French Navy and Cream
paintwork, and whilst a relatively small vehicle,
there is ample room for most Wedding Dresses. We
recommend either our French Navy or Cream DS420
Limousines as accompanying cars where necessary. |
